The Department of Medical Health and Family Welfare, Government of Uttar Pradesh, and the Gangwal School of Medical Sciences and Technology (GSMST) at the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IITK) have partnered through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This collaboration aims to transform healthcare services and improve telemedicine capabilities in the state by employing Artificial Intelligence (AI).
The MoU highlights crucial areas for partnership, such as establishing telemedicine centres and improving telemedicine service quality, deploying AI-driven approaches for significant population health outcomes, creating on-the-spot diagnostic tools for program enhancement, undertaking skill-based training for healthcare personnel, and leveraging data predictions and analyses for strategic decision-making.
