Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT) Kanpur is looking for software engineers to join the newly established R&D Centre.

IIT Kanpur's tweet reads, "Looking for Software Engineers to join our newly established R&D Centre, Center for Developing Intelligent Systems, under the DoRD at #IITKanpur. Apply now at nitin@cse.iitk.ac.in & upendra125p@gmail.com."

The notice reads, "Send your CV with a cover note highlighting relevant experience and strengths for this position, and your latest passport-size photograph, with the subject line CDIS Engineer."

The job responsibilities include leading software development, full-stack development using LAMP, Django and Oracle-based web systems, managing a team of 5-10 software engineers, reviewing and debugging code, project management, and any other tasks as assigned.

Eligibility Criteria

As per the official notification, the following are the eligibility criteria to apply:

  • The minimum educational requirement is BTech
  • One year of minimum work experience
  • Proven experience in full-stack LAMP, Django and Oracle based web system deployments
  • Sound fundamentals of software engineering
  • High intelligence and strong analytical mind
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking skills

C3ihub at IIT Kanpur has invited R&D proposals from all academic institutions in India on “Cyber Security Technology Innovation”. The full proposal deadline is August 23, 2022.

C3iHub at IIT Kanpur under the National Mission on Interdisciplinary Cyber-Physical Systems of the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, aims to address the issue of cyber security of cyber-physical systems in its entirety --- from analysing security vulnerabilities and developing tools to address them at various levels of system architecture, to translating these tools to deployment-ready software, to nucleating start-ups developing these tools at scale, to partnering with industries in this domain and to foster co-development and transfer of these technologies.
