IIT Kanpur Partners with Citadel Securities for Advanced GPU Research Facility

IIT Kanpur and Citadel Securities partner to establish the T3i Lab, focusing on advancing High-Performance Computing, Data Science, AI, Machine Learning, and Intelligent Systems research and education.

The Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IITK) and Citadel Securities have joined forces to establish the "Translational and Transformative Training and Investigations Lab" (T3i Lab) within IITK's Department of Computer Science and Engineering. Supported by a Citadel Securities CSR grant, this initiative aims to enhance access to world-class technical and computing education, reinforcing the firm's commitment to advancing global learning opportunities.

Translational and Transformative Training and Investigations Lab

The T3i Lab will offer students access to state-of-the-art research facilities and high-performance Graphics Processing Units (GPUs), a valuable yet scarce resource in India. The lab will drive advancements in High-Performance Computing, Data Science, Data Visualisation, Translational AI, Machine Learning, and Intelligent Systems. Additionally, it will foster innovation in Computer Architecture Design and Hardware Security, empowering IITK and its students to remain at the forefront of cutting-edge research and development in these vital fields.
