IIT Madras Invites JEE Advanced 2024 Aspirants: Get a Glimpse of Campus Life at Demo Day

Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2024 candidates who wish to experience the campus life of an IIT can book their tickets for the Demo day. Check details below.

IIT Madras has invited the JEE 2024 candidates to experience campus life before they take admissions to the premier engineering colleges of the nation - the IITs. Interested candidates can book their demo day ticket at www.askiitm.com/demo-day. The Demo Day is being hosted on June 11, 12, 15, 16 and 17. In-person events in Chennai (June 15-16), Bangalore (June 11), and Hyderabad (June 12); Online Option Available on June 17.

Tickets for the event are free of charge, with one parent or guardian permitted to accompany each candidate. Due to limited seating, priority will be given to JEE Advanced 2024 rank holders, and bookings are provisional until confirmation by IIT Madras following the release of the JEE Advanced rank list. Candidates can anticipate final booking confirmation via email and phone call after June 9, upon the announcement of the JEE Advanced 2024 results.

IIT Madras Demo Day - Lineup

During the demo day, participants will have the opportunity to explore the campus, sit in on classes, engage with professors and current students, and satisfy their curiosity about India's premier college. The itinerary for the demo day at IIT Madras includes:

• Registration: Check-in, ticket collection, and receive goodie bags.
• Parents: Q&A session focusing on outcomes.
• Students: Attend two real first-year classes.
• Parents and Students: Enjoy a shared lunch.
• Parents: Relax, watch videos, and interact with alumni.
• Students: Visit CFI and Nirman, and meet the placement team.
• Parents and Students: Meet the Director/Dean.
• Parents and Students: Conclude with a high tea and a campus walk.

More than 1000 students and parents participated in Demo Day in both 2022 and 2023, exploring campus life before finalising their JoSAA choices.

JEE Advanced 2024 response sheets will be out on May 31 and the answer keys will be out on June 2. IIT Madras conducted the exam on May 26 across 229 exam cities in India and three cities outside India.
