COAP 2024: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur is likely to start the COAP registration 2024 in the second week of March. Candidates with valid GATE scores secured in the years 2024/2023/2022 can register for COAP 2024 at the official website. They must know that COAP is the GATE counselling process for IIT admissions.
As of now, the dates have not been announced. This time, IIT Kanpur will conduct COAP and will announce dates once the GATE 2024 result is declared. Candidates have to apply separately to the respective IITs for MTech admission/PSU for the job. COAP is only the portal where the IITs and PSUs upload offers based on their selection criteria.
How to register for GATE COAP 2024?
Candidates can register for COAP online at the official website. They can go through the steps to know how to register for GATE COAP 2024:
Step 1: Go to the official website
Step 2: Register by entering all the asked details
Step 3: Upon successful registration, log in details will be sent to the candidates
Step 4: Now, log in using the COAP login ID and password
Step 5: Apply to the institutes in which admission is desired from the institute's official website
Step 6: Further, check the allotment status after the seat allotment round
IITs and PSUs provide their offers to the candidates through seat allotment rounds. There are around 5 main rounds of offers and 7 additional rounds of offers. They can participate in each of these rounds and practice the choices of offers from their COAP dashboard.
