IITGN invites applications for early admit MTech programme

Eligible BTech students from National Institutes of Technology (NITs) and select colleges can apply by February 9. 

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Gandhinagar has invited applications for its early admit MTech programme for the 2023-24 academic year. Eligible BTech students from National Institutes of Technology (NITs) and select colleges can apply by February 9. The institute mentioned that a GATE score is not mandatory for admission to the programme.

IITGN Early Admit Mtech: Eligibility criteria 

• BTech students from NITs and select colleges who will graduate in 2023 and are among the top 5 rank holders (General/ EWS/OBC) or top 10 rank holders (SC/ ST) in the department at the end of their pre‑final year are eligible to apply.  

• BTech students from IITs who will graduate in 2023 and having a CGPA/CPI not less than 6.0 at the end of their 3rd year are eligible to apply.

GATE not mandatory for admission to IITGN Early Admit MTech programme 

• GATE score is NOT mandatory for admission.
• Fellowship of INR 15,400 per month (for candidates with valid GATE score) or INR 6,000 (for others).  
• Candidates can choose to appear for GATE for a boost in stipend.  
• Travel support to the extent of INR 60,000 for attending international conferences
