IMU CET 2024 Counselling First Seat Allotment List OUT; Last Date to Accept Allotment July 6
IMU has released the first seat allotment list for UG, MBA and MTech courses. The candidates who have been allotted seats have to download the seat allotment letter and report at IMU campuses for document verification and medical fitness tests. Check details below.
The Indian Maritime University (IMU) has released the first admission list for IMU CET 2024. Candidates who have been allotted seats are required to download the IMU CET 2024 seat allotment letter and confirm their acceptance. The deadline for accepting the allotted seat is July 6, and certificate verification will take place from July 8 to 11. The candidates have to login using their IMU CET 2024 application number and password to confirm the seats allotted to them.
IMU CET 2024 Seat Acceptance and Downloading Allotment Letter
The steps to confirm the seats are given below:
- Login using your Application Number and Password.
- Download the ‘Provisional Seat Allotment Letter’.
- Confirm acceptance of the Allotted Seat, by making an online payment of the Programme Fee of INR 30,000/- (non-refundable).

If the Programme Fee is not paid on or before the prescribed date, then candidates shall be treated as a ‘drop-out’ and candidates can choose to:
- forgo the seat allotted to them
- forfeit the Counselling Fee of INR 10,000/-
- will not be considered for upgradation (if applicable) based on the Choices Filled by candidates during Counselling Registration.
On successful online payment of the Programme Fee of Rs. 30,000/-, candidates will have to report at the IMU Campus, where they have been allotted a seat on any day for verification of original certificates & documents, confirmation of medical fitness and payment of the First Semester Fees in full and Caution Deposit.
If the allotted seat is not the candidate's First Preference in the First Admission List, then candidates may get upgraded based on the availability of seats in subsequent Admission Lists. To get upgraded, candidates should first accept the allotted seat as per the First Admission List by successfully paying the Programme Fee of INR 30,000/-. IMU will draw up the subsequent Admission List(s) of selected candidates to fill the
vacancies arising due to ‘dropouts’. In the subsequent Admission List(s), some of the candidates may get upgraded; i.e. they may get a higher Programme - IMU Campus (as per their order of preference).
Documents Needed for Verification
The candidate should produce the following original certificates/documents for verification:
- Proof of Age - Birth Certificate / 10th Std / SSC or equivalent marksheet.
- 12th Std / Higher Secondary School or equivalent marksheet.
- Category Certificate [only for SC, ST and OBC (NCL)].
- Economically Weaker Section Certificate (for General-EWS Candidates).
- Printed copy of IMU’s CET Rank Certificate.
- 2 copies of passport-size photographs.
- Aadhaar Card.
- NCC Certificate (if applicable)
- UG Marksheets / Certificate (if applicable)
- Medical Fitness Certificate
- Passport (if applicable)
- Domicile Certificate (if applicable)
- Candidates selected for BSc (Nautical Science), Diploma in Nautical Science (DNS) and BTech (Marine Engineering) should produce a Medical Fitness Certificate with confirmation of eyesight fitness from a Doctor/Hospital approved by the Director General of Shipping, Mumbai.
