India AI Fellowship Opens Nominations for BTech, MTech, and PhD Scholars; Apply Till Sept 30
IndiaAI invites nominations from BTech & MTech students for the IndiaAI Fellowship. The top 50 NIRF-ranked research institutes are invited to participate in new PhD intakes researching Artificial Intelligence.
IndiaAI - Independent Business Division (IBD) is inviting nominations from B.Tech and M.Tech students for the IndiaAI Fellowship. Additionally, the top 50 NIRF-ranked research institutes are requested to confirm their participation in the fellowship program for new PhD candidates researching Artificial Intelligence. The fellowship is open to BTech and MTech students who are working on AI projects and will supplement any existing fellowships.
It offers support for one year for B.Tech students and two years for M.Tech students, covering the full duration of their AI-related projects. Students can submit their nominations at this website: indiaai.gov.in/article/proforma-for-submission-of-nominations-for-indiaai-fellowship-under-the-indiaai-mission as per the prescribed guidelines. The last date to submit nominations is September 30, 2024.
Fellowship for AI researchers in top institutes
IndiaAI fellowships is being offered to full-time PhD scholars focused on Artificial Intelligence at the top 50 NIRF-ranked research institutes. These institutes are invited to confirm their participation in the fellowship program and accept new PhD scholars specializing in AI. Eligible scholars must not be receiving any other scholarship or salary from any organization at the time of enrollment in the IndiaAI PhD Fellowship.
The top 50 NIRF ranked Research Institutes are requested to submit their approval on the official letterhead signed and stamped by the institute’s head agreeing to intake new PhD scholars as per the IndiaAI PhD fellowship guidelines to Smt. Kavita Bhatia, Sci ‘G’ & GC (AI & ET) on kbhatia@meity.gov.in.
Selection Process for IndiaAI Fellowship
The selection of candidates for the IndiaAI Fellowship will be conducted by IndiaAI, based on the applicant's eligibility, the relevance of their research proposal, the student’s profile, and the availability of fellowships at the national level.
