Jamia Millia Islamia has launched a two-year MTech programme in Environmental Health, Risk, and Safety Management. The course spans four semesters, with a yearly tuition fee of INR 45,275. The last date to apply for JMI MTech in Environmental Health, Risk, and Safety Management is October 27, and the entrance exam is scheduled for November 3. Candidates can apply through a separate form available on the official JMI website: jmicoe.in.
Admission will be based on the entrance exam conducted by JMI. Applicants must hold an MSc in Environmental Studies/Environmental Science, or a BTech, BE, or BPlanning degree in any branch from an AICTE/UGC-recognized university or institution, with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade in the qualifying exam to be eligible for this course.

Q: Β What is the reservation percentage for Muslim candidates at JMI?
Jamia Millia Islamia offers seat reservations in almost all the courses based on the category of the students. Candidates seeking JMI admission under the reserved category can apply for reservation under one category only and are required to fulfil the prescribed eligibility conditions of the course. More details regarding JMI reservation criteria are enlisted below:
- 30% of the total number of seats in each course are reserved for Muslim applicants. 10% of the total number of seats in each course are reserved for women applicants
who are Muslims and 10% of the total number of seats in each course shall be earmarked for (OBCs) and ST students who are Muslims. - 5% of seats in all the courses are reserved for physically challenged students.
- 5% of seats in all courses must be filled by internal students of Jamia who have passed their qualifying exam from Jamia schools as regular students.
