JEE Advanced News: Registrations Start from 21 April, Check Minimum JEE Main 2024 Score Needed to Qualify
JEE Advanced 2024 registration process will commence on April 21 for Indian nationals, and on April 15 for foreign nationals. JEE Main 2024 session 1 exam is ongoing and will end on February 1. Candidates will need a minimum JEE Main 2024 percentile score to be eligible for JEE Advanced 2024, know what is the cutoff percentile required here.
After JEE Main 2024 result is announced, the top 2.5 lakh candidates who will qualify the JEE Main cutoff 2024 for JEE Advanced, will have to register for the IIT JEE Advanced exam. The JEE Advanced 2024 application form will release on April 21 for Indian nationals, and on April 15 for foreign nationals. The online application forms will be available until April 30. IIT Madras will hold JEE Advanced 2024 on May 26 in CBT mode across.
As per the experts, based on the JEE Main 2024 session 1 exams held until now, the JEE Main cutoff to qualify for the JEE Advanced 2024 exam may rise. However, candidates must note that the JEE Main cutoff for JEE Advanced will depend on various variable factors. However, one factor that is common each year is that the cutoff is set in a way that top 2.5 lakh candidates of the JEE Main exam are selected for JEE Advanced.
Also, take note of the fact that the cutoff will be based on JEE Main 2024 January and April sessions both. With one more session to go, the cutoff graph cannot be predicted completely yet.
JEE Main Cutoff for JEE Advanced 2024
The JEE Main cutoff for JEE Advanced is of two types – qualifying cutoff and admission cutoff. The qualifying cutoff of JEE Main 2024 comprises the minimum score that aspirants need to secure to be eligible for JEE Advanced 2024. The admission cutoff of JEE Main 2024 is the opening and closing ranks for each institute and is released by JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority).
JEE Main 2024 cutoff for JEE Advaced will be out with the JEE Main 2024 result to be announced after the session 2 exams to be held from April 1 to 15.

JEE Advanced Registration 2024
Registration for JEE Advanced 2024 will begin on the official website, jeeadv.ac.in. Only the top 2.5 lakh candidates from the JEE Main 2024 AIR list can apply for JEE Advanced 2024. To register for JEE Advanced, candidates need to log in using their JEE Main application number and password, fill out the registration form, upload scanned documents, pay the online application fee, and finally, download and print the registration receipt.
