JEE Advanced Result 2024: Top 100 All India Rankers to Receive INR 3 Lakh Scholarships from IIT Kanpur

JEE Advanced 2024 Result: The Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT-M) announced the JEE Advanced 2024 results. Along with the results, other details such as the JEE Advanced all-India toppers' list, zone-wise toppers' list along with the marks secured by them, the cut-off marks for different categories and related information were also released on the official website.

A total of 1,80,200 candidates appeared in papers 1 and 2 in JEE Advanced 2024, held on May 26, 2024. In this exam, 48,248 candidates have qualified, of which 7,964 are female. Focusing on zone-wise toppers list, among the 21,634 candidates registered under the Kanpur Zone, 21,169 appeared for the exam, with 4,926 emerging as qualified candidates.

The Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IITK) extends its congratulations to the successful candidates of JEE Advanced 2024. The IIT Kanpur press release read, "IIT Kanpur proudly congratulates the outstanding achievers of the JEE Advanced 2024. We extend special recognition to Ved Lahoti for securing the All-India Rank 1, and to Dwija Dharmesh kumar Patel, the highest-ranked female candidate, for achieving an impressive 7th rank."

Bright Minds Scholarships by IIT Kanpur

In recognition of these achievements and the students' dedication, IIT Kanpur has decided to extend its "Bright Minds Scholarships" for the All-India Top 100 rank-holders of JEE Advanced 2024 for the fourth consecutive year. These scholarships, supported by alumnus Lokvir Kapoor, were established in 2021 to ensure that no deserving student faces financial obstacles in their academic journey.

The Bright Minds Scholarships offer prestigious and highly sought-after academic scholarships to students admitted to BTech/BS programs at IIT Kanpur for the academic year 2024. Eligible student will get an annual scholarship of INR 3 lakh, covering their expenses throughout their undergraduate program. The scholarship is awarded for all four years of the UG program, provided the students maintain a minimum CPI of 8.0.

Top performers in IIT Kanpur Zone in JEE Advanced 2024

This year, Manya Jain has emerged as the top performer from the Kanpur Zone, securing an All India Rank (AIR) of 75, followed by Shubham Nair (AIR 131), Garv Chaudha (AIR 163), Shreshtha Gupta (AIR 191), and Siddharth Aggarwal (AIR 306). Among female candidates, Shreshtha Gupta stands out with an AIR of 191, making her the highest-ranking female candidate in the zone.
