National Testing Agency has released the JEE Main admit card 2022 on the official website

National Testing Agency has released the JEE Main admit card 2022 on the official website. Candidates can login and download the admit card. After downloading the admit card they must carry its printout to the exam hall.  JEE Main July session will now be conducted from July 25 to 30. Candidates can check the allotted exam date, time and venue on the JEE Main admit card.

How to Download JEE Main 2022 Admit Card?

For downloading the JEE Main 2022 admit card, candidates must log in using their application form number and password. Only those candidates who have filled the application form within the specified last date have been issued JEE session 2 admit card. The step to download the admit card are as follows:

  • Open the official website - jeemain.nta.nic.in
  • Click on the JEE Main admit card 2022 download link
  • Login using JEE Main application number and date of birth
  • Admit card will be displayed on the screen
  • Download and take a printout

The National Testing Agency, in no case, will issue duplicate JEE Main admit cards at test centres. Candidates are requested to keep the admit card safe and not mutilate it or change any entry made therein. The admit cards are to be preserved in good condition for all future reference. 

What to Carry with JEE Main Admit Card at the Exam Hall

On the day of the exam, candidates must carry the below items at the exam hall with the admit card:

  • Self Declaration Undertaking
  • Sanitiser
  • Ball Point Pen
  • Photograph
  • Transparent Water Bottle
  • Masks & Gloves
  • For BArch paper, candidates must bring their own geometry set, colour pencils, erasers and pencils. No watercolours are required
  • Any one of the authorized photo IDs (must be original, valid and non-expired) –
  • PAN card
  • Driving license
  • Voter ID
  • Passport
  • Aadhaar Card (with the photograph)
  • Aadhaar enrolment number/Ration card

JEE admit card 2022 might contain some errors or discrepancies. These could be related to the candidates' details or information related to test centres. To prevent any problem on the exam day due error in the admit card. The candidates are advised to carefully read the instructions mentioned on the admit card and abide by the same. Items Prohibited inside JEE Main 2022 Examination Centre

While candidates are allowed the above items they cannot carry the below items at the exam hall:

  • Pencil/Geometry Box or any other stationery
  • Handbag
  • Purse
  • Any kind of paper or printed material
  • Eatables and Water (loose or packed)
  • Electronic items and instruments such as Mobile Phones, Ear Phone, Microphone, Pager, Calculator
  • Instruments such as DocuPen, Slide Ruler, Log Tables, Camera, Tape Recorder
  • Any type of watch including electronic watches with a calculator, any metallic item or electronic gadgets/ devices in the examination hall/room

JEE Main 2022 Exam Day Instructions

Apart from what to carry and what not to carry, candidates must take care of the below JEE Main 2022 exam day instructions:

  • JEE Main aspirants will not be allowed to carry any item other than those mentioned on the admit card.
  • Blank paper sheets for rough work will be provided in the examination room
  • Candidates must write their name and roll number at the top of the sheet and return the sheets and admit card to the Invigilator, before leaving the examination hall
  • Diabetic students will be allowed to carry eatables like sugar tablets/fruits and transparent water bottles to the examination hall/room. However, they will not be allowed to carry packed foods like chocolates/candy/sandwiches etc.
  • Candidates will have to sit on the seat allocated to them.
  • Candidates will be allowed to appear at the allotted venue of the test only.
  • Wearing a watch inside the exam hall is not allowed.
  • No candidate will be allowed to enter the exam centre once the exam starts.
  • Candidates without an admit card will not be allowed to appear for the exam.
  • Leaving the exam hall before end of the exam is not permitted.
  • Request for change in JEE Main 2022 exam centres will not be entertained.

JEE Main COVID-19 Safety Measures

To ensure the safety of all present in JEE Main exam hall, candidates must sanitise their hands at entry. Hand sanitisers will be available at various locations in the centre Candidates will be offered a fresh 3 Ply mask before entry. In order to stop the chances of UFM being used in the examination, the candidate is expected to wear the freshly provided mask at the centre. The candidates will be required to remove the mask brought from home and use the mask provided at the centre only. At the time of entry, the filled-in Undertaking on admit card and body temperature using thermo guns will be checked at the centre staff will guide the candidates to respective labs after scanning the bar code on the admit card.
