JEE Main 2022 notification delayed, know when NTA will release notice for registration and exam dates
Notification cum information brochure for JEE Mains 2022 will be released soon with details of exam dates, application form schedule and other important information like syllabus and pattern of the exam.
The notification for JEE Main 2022 has not been released yet by the National Testing Agency. It is expected that NTA will release the notification cum information brochure for JEE Mains 2022 anytime soon in January on the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in and nta.ac.in. JEE Mains 2022 registration will start soon after the notification is released.
The details of JEE Main 2022 exam dates and the schedule of registration will be notified in the information brochure. Also, complete information about JEE Main 2022 syllabus and exam pattern will be available in the brochure. JEE Main 2022 application form is likely to be released in January second week.
The notification for JEE Main in the previous year was released on December 16 and the registration process started on the same day. This year, the release of the notification might have been delayed due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation.
There are reports that the first attempt of JEE Main 2022 may be conducted in March instead of February but no official notice has been released from NTA regarding this. However, due to the rising COVID cases and assembly polls in five states, there are chances that the exam might get postponed to March.
The syllabus and JEE Main exam pattern 2022 is expected to remain the same as the previous year. NTA had brought changes to the exam pattern last year by introducing internal choices within the questions and increasing the total number of questions from 75 to 90. The same paper pattern is expected to be applicable for JEE Mains 2022.
The number of attempts was increased from 2 to 4 in previous years due to board exams dates of several states in April and May. This also allowed the candidates to improve their scores in the examination if they are not able to give their best in the one attempt due to board exams or COVID. It is expected that NTA will conduct the JEE Main 2022 in four sessions this year.
