JEE Main 2023 answer key objection window closes today
If candidates are not satisfied with the JEE Main answer keys, they can challenge and raise objections. For every objection raised, candidates will be required to submit a non-refundable fee of INR 200.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the facility to raise objections against the provisional answer key of Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2023 session 2 today (April 21, 2023). Candidates will be able to challenge the JEE Main answer key through the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in.
The NTA released JEE Main answer key session 2 on April 19. Question papers and candidates' responses have also been published along with JEE Main 2023 session 2 answer keys. If candidates are not satisfied with the JEE Main answer keys, they can challenge and raise their objections. For every objection raised, candidates will be required to submit a non-refundable fee of INR 200.
The NTA said, “Challenges made by the candidates will be verified by a panel of subject experts. If the challenge of any candidate is found correct, the answer key will be revised and applied in the response of all the candidates accordingly.”
How to Challenge JEE Main 2023 Answer Key?
Candidates need to log in on the official website for challenging the JEE Main 2023 answer key and pay a processing fee of INR 200 per question using credit/debit card/Net banking/UPI/PAYTM service. The fee is non-refundable. However, if the challenge is approved by NTA, the fee will be refunded. The procedure to challenge the answer key is:
- Log in with Application Number and Date of Birth/Password
- At the candidates’ Login Screen, select- “Challenge Answer Key” or “Challenge Recorded Response”
- For Recorded Response, select Question Number, Recorded Answer, and Claimed Answer. Then, add to the claims list
- For Answer Key, enter book number, question number, answer, and claimed answer. Then, add to the claims list
- Make the payment by Debit/Credit/Net banking
After the window to raise objections against the JEE Main session 2 answer key is closed, experts will verify these feedback. Changes, if required, will be made in the JEE Main final answer key.
