Latest Update- JEE Main 2023 Answer Key Live Updates: NTA JEE Mains answer key session 2 expected today
Candidates appearing in the exam need to carry their JEE Main admit card 2023 April 15, photo ID proof and passport size colour photograph. Candidates should report to the JEE Main 2023 exam centre as per the time mentioned on their admit card. Also, candidates should follow all the JEE Main 2023 exam day guidelines and instructions mentioned on the admit card.
Candidates can check JEE Main paper analysis for April 6, 8, 10, 11, 12 and 13 to know the difficulty level of the exam. NTA JEE Main 2023 Answer Key Session 2
National Testing Agency will release the JEE Main 2023 session 2 answer key in the third week of April. The tentative NTA JEE Main 2023 answer key date session 2 is April 17. JEE Mains answer key 2023 session 2 will be available online on the website jeemain.nta.nic.in.
JEE Main answer key 2023 for April 6, 8, 10, 11, 12 and 13 has been released by coaching institutes on memory-based questions. Candidates can download the JEE Mains 2023 session 2 answer key and check their expected scores in the exam.

According to the marking scheme followed, students will be awarded 4 marks for every correct answer and a negative marking of -1 will be applicable for every incorrect answer. Unattempted questions or those marked for review will be given zero marks.

According to previous trends for the JEE Main 2023 January Session, NTA is expected to release the answer key by next week, between April 17 and April 21. In addition to the answer key, NTA will also be releasing response sheets and OMR sheets for candidates on the official website.

NTA will announce JEE Main 2023 cutoff along with the announcement of session 2 results. JEE Main cutoff is the minimum percentile score that candidates have to score to qualify for appearing in JEE Advanced. JEE Main cutoff will be different for various categories.
Candidates must note that there are NO minimum marks or cutoffs which students need to obtain for passing JEE Main exam. The score that candidates get in JEE Main decides the All India Rank and admission to NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs is purely based on the All India Rank. The JEE Main cutoff is only for appearing in JEE Advanced.

JEE Main 2023 April 15 Live: What is NTA JEE Main Percentile Score?
The percentile score is based on the relative performance of all the aspirants appearing in the exam. The score will be obtained after transforming the scores into a scale ranging from 100 to 0 for each session of examinees.
As per the official website, "The Percentile Score indicates the percentage of candidates that have scored EQUAL TO OR BELOW (same or lower raw scores) that particular Percentile in that examination. Therefore the topper (highest score) of each session gets the same Percentile of 100 which is desirable. Questions also asked from s & p block, Coordination Compounds, Titrations, Chemistry in Everyday Life, Solid State, Ores & Metallurgy. To calculate scores using the JEE main answer key, candidates can use the steps below:
- Download the answer key of JEE Main 2023.
- Now crosscheck the answers in the key with that of the responses submitted by you in the exam.
- If the answer matches then add 4 marks. If not then deduct 1 mark.
- Follow the process and calculate the total score.
Or simply put the number of correct answers and the number of incorrect answers in the formula below:
JEE Main 2023 raw score = 4 X number of correct answers - 1 X number of wrong answers
Note, that the scores that are fetched after using the answer key are the raw score. NTA will convert the raw score to percentile scores for the All India Rank, cutoff and final marks.
