JEE Main 2023 exam schedule circulating on social media fake

No official information regarding JEE Main 2023 dates has been announced by the NTA so far. Candidates are advised to follow the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in/, for updates on JEE Main 2023. 

The notice on Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2023 dates doing rounds on social media is fake. A National Testing Agency (NTA) official has debunked the fake notice. However, no official information regarding JEE Main 2023 dates has been announced by the NTA so far. Candidates are advised to follow the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in/, for updates on JEE Main. 

As per the fake circular, JEE Main 2023 session one exam will be held on January 18, 19, 20, 21, 22 and 23. While the session two exam will be held on April 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9, 2023. Candidates can apply for session 1 through online mode from November 16, 2022 to December 31, 2022, up to 5 pm. They can make fee payment online till December 31, 2022 till 11:30pm.  

“In the first session of JEE (Main) - 2022, only Session 1 will be visible and candidates can opt for that. In the next session, Session 2 will be visible, and the candidates can opt for that Session. The application window for Session 2 will be re-opened as per the details available in the information bulletin,” the fake circular added. 

JEE Main 2023 is a national-level engineering entrance exam that is expected to be held in two phases in January and April. Candidates who are appearing for the JEE Main 2023 exam have to fulfil the eligibility criteria to submit the JEE Main 2023 application form.

Candidates can follow the below-mentioned steps to register for JEE Main 2023. 

• Visit the official website at jeemain.nta.nic.in.  
• On the homepage, click on JEE Main registration 2023.  
• Complete JEE registration using details name, mobile number and email address.  
• Fill up the JEE Main 2023 application form by entering personal and educational details.  
• Pay the JEE Main registration fee and submit the application form.  
• Download the JEE Main 2023 application form and take a printout for future reference.
