Yes, Divyangjan candidates are permitted to use a Scribe or allowed Compensatory time or both as mentioned below:

As per NTA;

• The facility of a Scribe, in case he/she has a physical limitation and a scribe is essential to write the examination on his/her behalf, being so certified in the aforesaid format by a CMO/Civil Surgeon/ Medical Superintendent of a Government Health Care Institution.
• Compensatory time of one hour for examination of three hours duration, whether such candidate uses the facility of Scribe or not. 

NTA will conduct JEE Main 2024 exam for Btech/BE in online mode as a computer based test. JEE Main exam is conducted for three different courses; B.Tech, B.Arch and B. Plan. The exam for B.Tech and B. Plan is completely online while the exam for B.Arch is partially online and drawing part is conducted offline.

Yes, it will be better to take the colour printout of the JEE Main admit card to the exam centre. As per the Advisory and Instructions released, a candidate can download the admit card from the NTA website, and it should be clear & preferably a colour printout on A4-sized paper. They need to bring the admit card in each session to secure admission to the exam centre. Candidates need to preserve the admit card until the declaration of the final result, as it is required for the admission process.

• After the completion of the test, candidates have to hand over the rough sheets to the invigilator on duty in the Room or hall.

Test Format: 

The BPlanning Paper 2B examination is entirely computer-based, covering Mathematics, Aptitude, and Planning-based questions.

Mode of Test: 

All tests for BPlanning Paper 2B, including Mathematics, Aptitude, and Planning, will be held in computer-based mode.

For BArch Paper 2A, the Mathematics and Aptitude tests are computer-based, and the Drawing test is pen-and-paper. For BPlanning Paper 2B, all tests, including Mathematics, Aptitude, and Planning, are conducted in computer-based mode.

Paper Structure

Part-I consists of Mathematics (MCQs, Numerical), Part-II comprises Aptitude (MCQs), and Part-III focuses on Drawing.

Mode of Test
