No. Calculators are not allowed in the JEE Main 2025 session exams. The list of prohibited items should be carefully checked by the students.

If the candidates face difficulty in downloading the JEE Main admit card 2025 then they are advised to try downloading it after some time. If the issue in downloading the admit card is due to an incorrect application number or password, candidates should check their email to find the correct application number. If the candidate has forgotten his/her password, they can reset it through the JEE Main official website “Forgot Password” facility.

The raw scores secured in the exam are converted into JEE Main percentile scores by NTA. The following formula is used to convert the scores into percentiles.

Organic Chemistry was the most prominent, with straightforward questions that often-resembled past-year problems. Inorganic Chemistry and Physical Chemistry had fewer questions comparatively.

NTA has not released the official JEE Main 2025 answer key for January session yet. The official key is expected to be released after all of the exam shifts are over.

As per the analysis of the previous shifts, the candidates can expect the JEE Main 2025 January 24 paper to be of moderate difficulty. Mathematics may be lengthier and difficult, but the candidates can expect Physics and Chemistry to be of moderate difficulty.

• Physics - This section was considered easy by most students. While the distribution of questions across topics appeared balanced, certain chapters were missing. Key topics like Mechanics, Waves, and Thermodynamics were covered, but chapters such as Optics and Electromagnetism had a stronger presence. Questions from Modern Physics were fewer in number, and chapters like Alternating Currents (AC), EMI, and Magnetism were underrepresented. There were no questions on instrument-related topics, and topics like Laws of Motion and Elasticity were absent.
• Chemistry - Easy to moderate. The section covered almost all chapters, with Organic Chemistry dominating in terms of the number of questions. Inorganic Chemistry was well-represented, while Physical Chemistry featured comparatively fewer questions. Most theoretical questions were directly based on NCERT, ensuring familiarity for the students. However, a few questions were reported to be outside the syllabus, though they were not particularly challenging. Overall, the Chemistry section allowed students to complete it quickly, giving them more time to focus on other sections.
• Mathematics - Moderate to difficult. Questions were evenly distributed across nearly all chapters, with Calculus being the most prominent. Topics such as 3D Geometry, Algebra, Vectors, Binomial Theorem, and Conic Sections also had a significant presence. Although the difficulty level of the questions was not excessively high, many involved lengthy and time-consuming calculations, making this section the most challenging for many students.

The following items will be allowed inside the JEE Mains 2025 exam centre:

• Valid identity proof
• Additional photograph, to be pasted on the attendance sheet
• One simple transparent ball point pen
• One simple personal transparent water bottle
• Diabetic candidates can carry sugar tablets or fruits

NTA will conduct JEE Main 2025 January 24 paper today. The examination will commence at 9 AM.

While reporting at the JEE Main exam centre, the candidates are advised to avoid full sleeves, and heavy or embroidered clothes. Only sandals and slippers are permitted and no accessories will be allowed. Candidates wearing religious attire, such as a burqa or turban, must report to the exam centre well in advance for thorough verification. Simple and comfortable clothing suitable for the season should be worn.

On the second page of the JEE Main admit card 2025, the self-declaration form will be available. While reporting at the exam centre, a clear A4 size print out of the hall ticket along with the self-declaration has to be taken.

NTA has released the JEE Main 2025 admit card for January 24 at jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates can now log in using the required credentials to access the JEE Mains admit card.

JEE Main 2025 January 24 Shift 1 will commence at 9 AM. Candidates are advised to be present at the exam centre at least an hour before the examination commences. JEE Main 2025 Shift 1 will conclude at 12 Noon.

While reporting at the exam centre, the candidates will to carry their JEE Main 2025 admit card along with a valid identity proof.
