UP NEET PG Counselling 2024: DMET Unlocks Choices Due to Technical Issue, Urge Students to Lock Choices Again
UP NEET PG 2024 choice filling and locking process for round 3 counselling will conclude tomorrow i.e. January 31, 2025, for interested and eligible candidates willing to PG medical admission in Uttar Pradesh.
The Directorate of Medical Education and Training (DMET) Uttar Pradesh has announced an important notification regarding choice filling and locking for the third round of UP NEET PG 2024 counselling process. The students who are willing to get admission in MD/ MS/ Diploma/ DNB courses across Uttar Pradesh state are required to lock their choices again as due to technical issues the virtual vacancies were not available during the UP NEET PG round 3 choice filling and locking 2024 process. Hence, even those students who have completed the choice filling and locking are required to complete the preference filling process again.
"All the candidates who participated in the third round of counselling of UP NEET PG-2024 are informed that due to technical reasons, the option of Seat Against Cancellation (SAC) i.e. Virtual Vacancies could not be displayed to the candidates at the time of Choice Filling." The official notification reads.
UP NEET PG Counselling 2024: Round 3 Locked Choices Unlocked
The authorities have notified that due to the non-availability of virtual vacancies, the authorities have unlocked all the choices filled by the candidates.
"The Choices locked by the candidates have been unlocked. Therefore, all the eligible candidates are directed to include Virtual Vacancies in their Choice Filling and ensure that they fill their Choices again and lock them." The official notification reads further.
Students must note that the UP NEET PG 2024 round 3 choice filling process in ongoing till tomorrow i.e. January 31, 2025. Hence, students have to ensure they fill and re-lock their choices at the earliest possible to avoid last-minute discrepancies.
