JKCET 2023 registration deadline extended, apply on jkbopee.gov.in

Interested and eligible candidates can apply for JKCET 2023 till April 30, 2023.

Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examination (JKBOPEE) has extended the registration deadline for JKCET 2023 till April 30. Earlier, the last date to apply for JKCET 2023 was April 24, 2023. 

Candidates striving for admission to BE/BTech programmes in the government and private colleges of Jammu and Kashmir can register for JKCET. After qualifying for JKCET, candidates will become eligible for admission to various courses under BE/BTech such as Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Information Technology, and Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Communication Engineering and Bio-Medical Engineering. 

How to Fill JKCET 2023 Application Form? 

Candidates can follow the steps given below to fill JKCET 2023 Application Form. 

Step 1: Visit the official website, jkbopee.gov.in.  

Step 2: Fill in the application form by providing the details asked. 

Step 3:Pay the applicable application fee. 

Step 4: Upload the necessary scanned documents. 

Step 5: Print the JKCET 2023 Application Form and save a copy for future reference. 

Who can apply? 

Candidates must check the JKCET 2023 eligibility criteria before applying for JKCET 2023. 

• Candidates should be permanent residents of Jammu & Kashmir as defined in section 6 of the Constitution of the Jammu & Kashmir State. 
• They must have passed the Class 12 examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognized Board or any equivalent examination from a recognized Institute with at least 50% (40% for reserved category). 
• Candidates should have completed 17 years as of December 31, 2023. There is no upper age bar for appearing in the JKCET 2023 for admission to Engineering Courses, both in Government and Private Colleges. 
• Candidates who are going to appear in the Class 12 examination in 2023 can also apply for the JKCET.
