JoSAA 2020 Seat allotment result for round-1 announced

JoSAA 2020 seat allotment results for round-1 have been declared on October 17. Know how to check your seat allotment result along with JoSAA cut off.

JoSAA 2020 seat allotment results for round-1 have been released by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority on the official website today i.e. October 17. Candidates can check their respective seat allotment result on the official website by submitting their registered login credentials.

Next, shortlisted candidates have to go through online document verification and payment of seat acceptance fee from October 17 to 19. Last date for candidates to exercise an option online for acceptance/ withdrawal is July October 20. Please note that round 6 will be the last round of seat withdrawal for Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs).

How to check JoSAA 2020 seat allotment result?

Step-1: Visit the official website of JoSAA 2020 or click on the link above

Step-2: Click on “View round-1 seat allotment result”

Step-3: Enter your JEE Main application number, password and security pin to login

Step-4: Your seat allotment result will be displayed on the screen

JoSAA seat allotment will be conducted in seven rounds. The authority offered admission to 107 institutes including 23 IITs, 31 NITs, 25 IIITs and 28 Other-Government Funded Technical Institutes (Other-GFTIs) for BTech and BArch programmes. Candidates who appeared only for JEE Main will be able to seek admission at NITs, IIITs and CFTIs, while candidates who have appeared in both JEE Main 2020 and JEE Advanced 2020 will be offered admission at IITs.
