The National Institute of Technology (NIT) Andhra Pradesh has increased its BTech seat intake from 600 to 750 seats this year. It offers BTech degree in eight engineering branches.  

Admission to the BTech courses at NIT Andhra Pradesh will be conducted through the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA)-2021 and Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB)-2021, based on the JEE (Mains) results. Seats for economically weaker sections have been introduced as per the he Government of India norms. The last date to apply through JoSAA-2021 is October 25, 2021.  

NIT Andhra Pradesh has increased its BTech seat intake from 600 to 750 seats this year. It offers BTech degree in eight engineering branches – Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Metallurgical and Materials Engineering. 

NIT Andhra Pradesh Director Prof CSP Rao said, “The institute offers BTech programmes in the utmost demanding domains of engineering. Specialised faculty members with excellent academic and research background are devoted to cater to the need of training the students for becoming competent engineers, scientists and entrepreneurs.” 

The institute recently conducted a virtual awareness programme on the admission process. The prospective candidates were briefed on how to enter their choices carefully to get seat as per their preferences.
