JoSAA Counselling 2024: The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will release the second mock seat allocation list today based on the choices filled by the candidates till June 16. They can check the JoSAA 2024 seat allotment result online at the official website: josaa.nic.in.
They must use their JEE Main 2024 application number and password to check the JoSAA mock allotment result 2024 for round 2. Also, those who registered for JEE Advanced have to use the JEE Advanced application number and password. Further, the choice locking for JoSAA counselling will begin after the 2nd mock allotment result is announced.
How to check JoSAA Mock Seat Allotment 2024 Round 2 Result?
Candidates who have applied for admission to undergraduate IITs and seats under the NIT+ system today can check JoSAA mock allotment list on josaa.nic.in. They can go through the steps to know how to download JoSAA second mock allotment:
Step 1: Go to the official website: josaa.nic.in or josaa.admissions.nic.in
Step 2: On the homepage, scroll down and click on JoSAA Mock Allotment List Round 2
Step 3: A login window will appear on the screen
Step 4: Login with application number and password and click on submit tab
Step 5: The JoSAA 2024 mock seat allotment letter will appear on the screen
Step 6: Download and take a printout of the allotment letter
JoSAA Counselling 2024 Seat Allotment
Candidates who will be allocated seats in the round 2 of mock allotment can fill in their choices by June 18, 2024. The choices locked will be used for the actual JoSAA seat allocation in Round 1. As per India Today, more than 1.56 lakh candidates have participated, submitting more than 1.68 crore choices for JoSAA counselling. Also, they should note that the IIT seat count has increased this year. According to official data, 355 IIT seats have been added.
