KCET Counselling 2024 and Documentation

KCET 2024 Counselling: The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) announced that the KCET counselling for all professional courses, including medical and engineering, will be held simultaneously after the announcement of NEET results 2024.

To avoid confusion, the KCET 2024 counselling dates will be released after the NEET counselling schedule. If any candidate wishes to participate in state KCET 2024 counselling after taking the NEET exam, they will have to apply through KEA.

Also, this year, apart from the medical exam for special children, nearly all document verification will be conducted online. KEA officials confirmed that there will be no need for in-person visits to the KEA office.

KEA to reopen KCET 2024 Application Window after NEET UG Result

For those candidates who missed the initial application, the KCET 2024 window will reopen for applications after the NEET result is announced. The Karnataka UGCET application form 2024 can likely be available from June 17 at the official website. While applying for CET, the rank will not be released due to incorrect unique numbers provided by some candidates in PUC. Approximately 3000 candidates are affected. The authorities have announced that all of these candidates will be allowed to correct their mistakes.

In a notice released, the KEA announced another opportunity for candidates who failed to register for UGCET, a common application for engineering, architecture, medical, dental, Ayurveda, Unani, and Homoeopathy courses.

KCET 2024 Result

The Karnataka Examination Authority released the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) online at the official website: kea.kar.nic.in. To check the KCET result, candidates have to use their registration number and the first four characters of their name in the login window.

This year, a total of 3,49,653 students applied for the exam, of which 1,54,869 were male and 1,94,784 were female candidates. Out of these, 3,10,314 students appeared, including 1,39,274 male and 1,71,040 female candidates. In a boost from last year, a total of 3,10,314 students have been deemed eligible, with 1,39,274 male and 1,71,040 female candidates.
