Karnataka Examinations Authority has revised the KCET round 1 post allotment schedule. Candidates can check KCET counselling dates 2024 at kea.kar.nic.in. Candidates can now download the KCET admission order by September 6. The last date to report at the allotted college through KCET counselling 2024 till September 6 (5:30 PM). KCET Counselling Dates 2024: Karnataka Examinations Authority has revised the KCET counselling dates. Applicants allotted seats can now download the KCET admission order till September 9. The last date to report to the allotted colleges is September 6 upto 5:30 PM. Applicants allotted seats based on KCET seat allotment 2024 for engineering, architecture, agriculture, veterinary and other courses are given four options. Candidates need to choose one choice which is suitable for them. Applicants are advised to make their choice carefully as KEA will now allow any candidate to change their choices after locking.  

KCET round 1 seat allotment 2024 was released on August 29. Applicants who appeared in the counselling process can check their KCET seat allotment 2024 through CET number.  

KCET Cutoff 2024 

Karnataka Examinations Authority has released the KCET cutoff at the official website. KCET cutoff 2024 PDF is released in the form of closing ranks for all the colleges and courses. Candidates appearing in the KCET counseling in the upcoming round are advised to check the cutoff carefully.  

Karnataka Examinations Authority will soon commence the facility to edit the KCET options 2024. Applicants can edit the choices filled at the time of KCET option entry 2024. Candidates can make changes based on the KCET cutoff and other factors. KCET round 2 seat allotment date 2024 will be notified soon at the official website.

Q:   How is seat allotment done in KCET counselling?

A:

Karnataka Examinations Authority conducts the KCET counselling in online mode. Applicants have to complete the choice filling and locking after a successful registration. Candidates have to fill preferred choices of colleges and courses at the time of choice filling of KCET counselling 2025. KEA allots seats during the counselling process as per the choices filled by the candidates. After mock allotment, candidates are given chance to change their choice preference. After seat allotment results of KCET, candidates will be provided three options of freeze float and side. 

Q:   I am not interested in the seat offered during KCET counselling. Can I still participate in further seat allotment rounds without accepting

A:

Yes, you can still participate in the KCET counselling further grounds even if they are allotted seats. Applicants allotted seats can opt for float or sliding option from the login. If you want to get a seat in the same college but a different course then you can choose the slides option. However, if applicants is looking for upgradation in the college allotted then they must float option. If candidates choose freeze option after seat allotment then there is no provisions to participate in the further grounds of counseling. 

Q:   What is the total number of participating institutes for KCET counselling?

A:

There are around 250 colleges that offer admissions to engineering and architecture courses. There are both morning and evening shifts colleges. Applicants have to fill in the college and course choices at the time of KCET option entry facility. The admissions to architecture colleges will be done on the basis of NATA score 2025 while engineering admissions will be done on KCET 2025 score only.
