Karnataka Examination Authority has extended the last date to complete KCET option entry 2024 last date. KCET Counselling 2024: Karnataka Examination Authority has extended the last date to complete the KCET round 2 option entry 2024. Candidates looking for admission to various courses can complete KCET counselling 2024 option entry at kea.kar.nic.in. Applicants need to provide their CET number to complete KCET option entry 2024. At the time of KCET counselling option entry 2024, applicants need to fill preferred choices of colleges and courses. KEA has not notified KCET option entry last date.

When is KCET 2nd Round Seat Allotment 2024? 

Karnataka Examination Authority will soon release the KCET 2nd round seat allotment result at the official website. The authorities will release the KCET seat allotment 2024 based on options filled by candidates at the time of option entry. Candidates need to enter their CET number to check KCET counselling 2024 seat allotment.

Steps to Complete KCET Optin Entry 2024 

  • Visit the KCET official website at kea.kar.nic.in 2024.  
  • Click on the UGCET/UGNEET second round option entry link from the homepage.  
  • Enter the CET number in the required fields.  
  • Fill the preferred choices of colleges and courses in the required fields. 
  • Preview all details and submit the form for future reference.  

After KCET 2nd round seat allotment result is announced, applicants must pay the seat acceptance fee online. Candidates need to report at the allotted college along with the required documents and fee reciept.

Q:   How is seat allotment done in KCET counselling?

A:

Karnataka Examinations Authority conducts the KCET counselling in online mode. Applicants have to complete the choice filling and locking after a successful registration. Candidates have to fill preferred choices of colleges and courses at the time of choice filling of KCET counselling 2025. KEA allots seats during the counselling process as per the choices filled by the candidates. After mock allotment, candidates are given chance to change their choice preference. After seat allotment results of KCET, candidates will be provided three options of freeze float and side. 

Q:   I am not interested in the seat offered during KCET counselling. Can I still participate in further seat allotment rounds without accepting

A:

Yes, you can still participate in the KCET counselling further grounds even if they are allotted seats. Applicants allotted seats can opt for float or sliding option from the login. If you want to get a seat in the same college but a different course then you can choose the slides option. However, if applicants is looking for upgradation in the college allotted then they must float option. If candidates choose freeze option after seat allotment then there is no provisions to participate in the further grounds of counseling. 

Q:   What is the total number of participating institutes for KCET counselling?

A:

There are around 250 colleges that offer admissions to engineering and architecture courses. There are both morning and evening shifts colleges. Applicants have to fill in the college and course choices at the time of KCET option entry facility. The admissions to architecture colleges will be done on the basis of NATA score 2025 while engineering admissions will be done on KCET 2025 score only.
