KCET 2nd Extended Round Seat Allotment: Karnataka Examination Authority postponed the KCET second extended round seat allotment result 2024. Applicants will be able to check KCET seat allotment result 2024 at kea.kar.nic.in. Candidates can check KCET seat allotment second extended round through CET number. Applicants shortlisted based on KCET allotment result have to download their admission order and complete the fee payment online from the login window. The admission fee if paid in any previous round of KCET counselling 2024 will be adjusted at the time of admission. Previously, KCET results 2024 is scheduled to be announced today on October 8.

Q: How is seat allotment done in KCET counselling?
Karnataka Examinations Authority conducts the KCET counselling in online mode. Applicants have to complete the choice filling and locking after a successful registration. Candidates have to fill preferred choices of colleges and courses at the time of choice filling of KCET counselling 2025. KEA allots seats during the counselling process as per the choices filled by the candidates. After mock allotment, candidates are given chance to change their choice preference. After seat allotment results of KCET, candidates will be provided three options of freeze float and side.
Q: How many rounds of KCET counselling will be held?
KCET UGCET counseling is generally conducted in three grounds. KEA will first release the KCET mock seat allotment result after the conclusion of the choice-filling process. The first two grounds of KCET 2024 counseling will be conducted for birth general merit and Hyderabad Karnataka region candidates. However round 3 or round 2 extended will be conducted as per the availability of seats. Candidates have to complete the KCET counseling registration as per the schedule. Only successfully registered candidates will be allowed to participate in the KCET 2025 extended round counseling.
Q: What is the total number of participating institutes for KCET counselling?
There are around 250 colleges that offer admissions to engineering and architecture courses. There are both morning and evening shifts colleges. Applicants have to fill in the college and course choices at the time of KCET option entry facility. The admissions to architecture colleges will be done on the basis of NATA score 2025 while engineering admissions will be done on KCET 2025 score only.
