KCET Counselling Round 2 cutoff 2024: Karnataka Examination Authority has released the KCET cutoff 2024 for round 2 at the official website. Applicants can check KCET round 2 cutoff 2024 at kea.kar.nic.in. KCET 2nd round cutoff 2024 is released in the form of closing ranks for all courses and colleges. Applicants are advised to refer to the KCET cutoff PDF 2024 for reference purpose. KEA has also released the KCET 2nd round seat allotment result 2024. Applicants need to enter their CET number to check KCET round 2 seat allotment 2024.

The exam authority has also activated the direct link to complete KCET choice entry, fee payment and downloading admission allotment. Candidates must enter their choices from the login window. In case any candidate fails to enter their choice against the allotted seat then the seat will be considered as vacant for the next round.

Applicants allotted seats can exercise their options against the KCET allotted seat till September 25. The last date for payment of fee and downloading allotment order for round 2 is September 26. Applicants are advised to carry all the required documents at the time of reporting to allotted colleges.

Q: Β How is seat allotment done in KCET counselling?
Karnataka Examinations Authority conducts the KCET counselling in online mode. Applicants have to complete the choice filling and locking after a successful registration. Candidates have to fill preferred choices of colleges and courses at the time of choice filling of KCET counselling 2025. KEA allots seats during the counselling process as per the choices filled by the candidates. After mock allotment, candidates are given chance to change their choice preference. After seat allotment results of KCET, candidates will be provided three options of freeze float and side.
Q: Β I am not interested in the seat offered during KCET counselling. Can I still participate in further seat allotment rounds without accepting
Yes, you can still participate in the KCET counselling further grounds even if they are allotted seats. Applicants allotted seats can opt for float or sliding option from the login. If you want to get a seat in the same college but a different course then you can choose the slides option. However, if applicants is looking for upgradation in the college allotted then they must float option. If candidates choose freeze option after seat allotment then there is no provisions to participate in the further grounds of counseling.
Q: Β What is the total number of participating institutes for KCET counselling?
There are around 250 colleges that offer admissions to engineering and architecture courses. There are both morning and evening shifts colleges. Applicants have to fill in the college and course choices at the time of KCET option entry facility. The admissions to architecture colleges will be done on the basis of NATA score 2025 while engineering admissions will be done on KCET 2025 score only.
