Karnataka Examinations Authority has started the KCET option entry at the official website. Applicants can complete KCET 2024 option entry at kea.kar.nic.in. Candidates need to enter their hall ticket number to complete KCET round 1 option entry.  KCET option entry last date will be notified later. KCET Option Entry 2024: Karnataka Examinations Authority has commenced the KCET round 1 option entry at the official website. Applicants can complete the KCET option entry at kea.kar.nic.in. Candidates need to enter their hall ticket number to complete the KCET option entry. At the time of KCET option entry 2024, candidates need to enter their preferred choices of colleges and courses. Applicants are advised to complete the KCET option entry carefully. KEA will not allow any candidate to change their options after KCET option entry last date.

Applicants must use “Save and Submit” tab to complete KCET option entry. It is also advisable to print out of preferences for future reference. Please do not leave the KCET option entry portal without proper logout. Always click 'Logout' link to logout.

Candidates can refer to the steps provided below to complete KEA option entry.  

  • Visit the KCET counselling official website at kea.kar.nic.in 2024. 
  • Click on the option entry direct link from the homepage. 
  • Enter the hall ticket number in the required fields. 
  • Fill preferred choices of colleges and courses in the required fields.  
  • Preview all details and submit the form for future reference.  

What After KCET Option Entry 2024? 

After the conclusion of KCET round 1 option entry, KEA will release the mock seat allotment result. The exam authority will allow candidates to change their preferences are the KCET mock seat allotment result.

Q:   Can I use a calculator during KCET 2025 exam?

A:

No, Karnataka Examination Authority will not allow candidates to use calculators during the KCET 2025 exam. Applicants are also not allowed to carry any electronics devices like mobile phones, pagers and other items inside the exam centre. Applicants appearing in the exam can use their question paper for rough work. The authorities will allow candidates to do calculations and rough work in the question paper booklet. Any candidate carrying restricted items inside the KCET 2025 exam hall will be disqualified from the admission process.  

Q:   What are the items restricted inside the KCET exam centre?

A:

KEA will release the KCET 2025 admit card at the official website. Applicants appearing in the exam have to carry their KCET admit card along with one valid photo ID proof at the exam centre. Candidates are allowed to carry their pen/pencil, face mask, and water bottle inside the exam centre. However, KEA will not allow candidates to appear in the KCET 2025 carrying restricted items at the exam centre. The items restricted inside KCET exam hall are given below.

  1. Geometry or Pencil box
  2. Handbag
  3. Purse
  4. Eatables
  5. Mobile Phone/ Earphone/ Microphone/ Pager
  6. Calculator
  7. DocuPen
  8. Any metallic item or electronic gadgets/devices.
