KCET Syllabus To Be Updated

The KCET syllabus is currently based on pre-university NCERT textbooks and it does not cover certain subjects, while the PGCET syllabus is derived from engineering courses. Therefore, Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) has recommended that the syllabus for KCET be updated to include these new courses. The syllabi will now be revised to bring it in line with the new courses being introduced in technical education. The last time the KEA revised the KCET syllabus was in 2009.

KCET to be held in Online Mode?

As per reports by The Hindu, KEA has also decided to change the question paper pattern for KCET. With this, it can be expected that the UGCET exam can be held online mode in the upcoming session. KEA will establish an expert committee to ensure that the updates to the syllabus and KCET exam pattern align with the latest trends and demands of technical education. Based on their report the KCET question paper format will be revamped.
