KEA releases important notice for KCET 2023 applicants

Candidates can submit the KCET application form 2023 till April 5, 2023. They can apply online through the official website at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.  

The Karnataka Examination Authority has released an important notice for the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2023 applicants. Candidates can check the notice on the official website at kea.kar.nic.in.  

The official KEA notice read, “The candidates who have filled their online application for for UGCET-2023 up to 1:00 PM on 04-03-2023, but if their RD details, reservation and Photo/Signature/LTM is missing in the final printout, the portal will be enabled to such candidates from 6:00 PM on 04-03-2023 to 08-03-2023 up to 11:59 pm to enter their RD details, to claim benefits of reservation (Caste, Category, Special Categories, KannadaRural, etc.) and to upload Photo, LTM and Signature.” 

The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) started the registration process for KCET 2023 on March 2, 2023. Candidates can submit the KCET application form 2023 till April 5, 2023. They can apply online through the official website at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. Application fee can be submitted by April 7. 

The KEA will conduct the KCET 2023 on May 20 and 21 in two shifts from 10:30 am to 11:50 am and from 2:30 pm to 5:50 pm. However, the Kannada Language exam is scheduled to be conducted on May 22. Applicants must go through eligibility criteria before filling the Karnataka CET application form 2023. KCET 2023 application process comprises registration, filling form, uploading of documents and payment of fee. KEA KCET 2023 exam dates are May 20 & 21.

Candidates should be a pass in 2nd PUC / Class 12 / equivalent exam with English as one of the Languages and secured 50 per cent marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and 50 per cent marks in aggregate at 2nd PUC / Class 12 / equivalent exam in all the subjects (45 per cent for reserved category)

Candidates should be a pass in 2nd PUC / Class 12 / equivalent exam with English as one of the Languages and obtained a minimum of 45 per cent marks in aggregate in Physics and Mathematics along with Chemistry / Bio-Technology / Biology / Electronics / Computer (40 per cent for reserved category)   

Steps to fill KCET application form 2023?   

Candidates can follow the steps given below to fill KCET application form 2023.  

  • Go to the KCET official website - kea.kar.nic.in 2023.   
  • Click on the direct link to fill KCET form.   
  • Enter 13-digit 2nd PUC examination number and other personal details in the required fields.   
  • Login with user ID and password to fill KCET 2023 application form.   
  • Fill educational qualification, address information and other details.   
  • Upload required documents as per the specifications.   
  • Pay the application fee in online mode.   
  • Preview and submit the KCET form 2023 for future reference.
