Candidates can now register for MHT CET 2024 counselling up to the extended period of July 30, 2024. MHT CET CAP counselling website is cetcell.mahacet.org and fe2024.mahacet.org.

The Maharashtra CET Cell has again extended the last date to register for MHT CET CAP Counselling 2024. Interested candidates can now register for the counselling up to July 30, 2024. The MHT CET CAP counselling website is cetcell.mahacet.org.

After the completion of registration process, a merit number will be allotted to all the registered candidates.  The CET Cell will allot merit number based on the candidates performance in CET/any other competitive exam or 10+2 exam basis which the student is applying for admission.

The CET Cell will release a provisional merit list of all registered candidates on August 3, 2024. Candidates will also be allowed to submit their grievances from August 4 to 6, 2024. After the scrutiny of grievances, the CET Cell will release final merit list on August 8, 2024.

How to Register for MHT CET 2024 Counselling

Candidates can register for the counselling with the help of below-mentioned steps

  • Open the MHT CET website – cetcell.mahacet.org or fe2024.amahcet.org
  • Click on the B.Tech section and select new candidate registration
  • Fill the required details to complete the registration process
  • After the completion of registration, candidates will have to fill the details CAP counselling form which include providing personal, family and academic details.
  • Select the mode of admission – JEE Main or MHT CET
  • Upload the scorecard of class 12 and JEE Main/MHT CET
  • Pay the counselling fees

The counselling form will be submitted automatically after the successful payment of application fees. The applicable fees is subjected to the mode of admission selected by the candidate.

Q:   I have not appeared in MHT CET. Can I register for the counselling?

A:

Candidates who have not applied/appeared in MHT CET 2024 can participate in the counselling on the basis of their JEE Main 2024 score. Candidates not having MHT CET or JEE Main score can also participate in the counselling based on their class 12 marks.

Q:   Where can I check MHT CET counselling dates?

A:

The schedule of MHT CET counselling registration has been announced on the official website. As per the information available on the website, counselling registration has started on June 24. The detailed round-wise schedule of counselling will be released soon. Candidates can also check the details about MHT CET counselling schedule on the Shiksha page. The last date to register for the MHT CET 2023 counselling is July 3.

Q:   What is the fee to participate in MHT CET counselling?

A:

There is no fees for MHT CET counselling registration. Candidates can register and participate in the counselling without any fees. However, candidates need to pay the seat confirmation fees once the seat is allotted to them.

Q:   How many rounds are there in MHT CET counselling?

A:

The Maharashtra Common Entrance Test Cell will conduct at total of three rounds counselling and seat allotment process. The exact schedule with the number of rounds will be announced soon on the official website mahacet.org. Currently, the MHT CET counselling registration is open from June 24 to July 3.

Q:   Can I still participate in MHT CET counselling if I do not accept the seat allotted to me?

A:

The process of MHT CET counselling and seat allotment consists of several processes. Once a seat is allotted to a candidate, he/she has the option of “Accept and Freeze” and “Accept and Float”. If a candidate is satisfied with the allotted seat and selects the first option, he/she cannot participate in the next round counselling. If the candidate is not satisfied with the allotted seat, he/she can select the second option trough which he/she can participate in the next round counselling with the current seat.
