NIT Jalandhar celebrates National Innovation Day
The NIT Jalandhar organized a two-day event on October 14th and 15th to celebrate National Innovation Day.
National Innovation Day was celebrated at Dr B R Ambedkar NIT Jalandhar. In a grand tribute to the legendary Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam on his birth anniversary, the NIT Jalandhar organized a two-day event on October 14th and 15th.
While celebrating National Innovation Day, NIT Jalandhar hosted a vibrant day uniting entrepreneurial visionaries and pioneers. The event was organized by Dean (R&C), Prof. J N Chakraborty coordinated by Team Technical Affairs of NIT Jalandhar.
The event was dedicated to celebrating innovation, entrepreneurship, and the spirit of scientific inquiry, which Dr. Kalam so passionately advocated. The Chief Guest for the event was Dr. Dapinder Kaur Bakshi, Joint Director Punjab state council of science and technology and a notable figure in the field of innovation and technology. The Guest of Honor was Prof. Cham, a distinguished academic, and Mr. Richard, a prominent figure in the world of entrepreneurship from Birmingham City University UK. Mr Sunil Chawla, DGM, Punjab Info tech graced the event as Special Guest. Registrar of NIT Jalandhar, Prof. Ajay Bansal also attended the event.
It was a platform for engaging discussions and insightful talks on innovation, startup culture, entrepreneurship, and more. It aimed to inspire the budding innovators and entrepreneurs in the NITJ community to think creatively and take the road less travelled.
Some of the key highlights of the event included discussions on innovation and its role in today's world, practical insights into startup creation and growth, and the unveiling of an exciting hatchery program designed to nurture and support young innovators. As the speakers and participants shared their experiences and expertise, it was evident that Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam's vision for a self-reliant and technologically advanced India continues to inspire and motivate the future generation, said the official statement.
