NIT Rourkela conducts mission mode recruitment drive to hire faculty

A total of 211 appointment offers have been issued during recruitment. The NIT Rourkela automation cell customised its faculty recruitment module over a duration of one month. 

The National Institute of Technology (NIT) Rourkela conducted faculty recruitment 2022 in mission mode and completed the same in a period of four months. A total of 211 appointment offers have been issued during recruitment.  

The NIT Rourkela automation cell customised its faculty recruitment module over a duration of one month. The recruitment portal: recruitment.niamt.ac.in/faculty was activated on January 13, 2023. NIT Rourkela Director Professor Umamheshwar Rao congratulated the automation team. He said, “It is heartening to know that the automation cell, NIT Rourkela, have developed a web portal for NIAMT Ranchi. This shall facilitate the institute to process the faculty recruitment in their institute more effectively. It is only possible with a relentless hard work of the faculty and staff members of the automation cell.” 

He said, “The letter from NIAMT for this portal came with a request to create a web-based faculty recruitment portal. Indeed, they wanted it at the earliest as the mission mode faculty recruitment process was to be initiated, as suggested by the Ministry of Education.” 

He went on to add, “I take this opportunity to earnestly thank every member of the team in automation cell for keeping up our word to NIAMT and for your efforts for a timely completion of the task.”
