JoSAA Counselling: The National Institute of Technology (NIT) Rourkela has introduced a new BTech programme in Artificial Intelligence starting from the academic year 2024-2025. The Computer Science and Engineering Department at NIT Rourkela is offering this programme, which spans four years.

This cutting-edge program at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering is designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills needed to excel in the dynamic field of AI. It provides both theoretical knowledge and practical experience, preparing you for a future in one of the fastest-growing industries.

NIT Rourkela BTech in Artificial Intelligence Admission Via JoSAA Counselling

Interested candidates can register for NIT Rourkela BTech in AI through the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) and CSAB counselling. The last date for the JoSAA counselling 2024 registration and choice locking is June 18 till 5 pm. Those interested can register online at the official website: josaa.nic.in.

They must keep their JEE Main 2024 application number and password handy, to access the JoSAA counselling portal. The JoSAA seat allotment result 2024 for round 1 will be announced on June 20 at 10 am. 

NIT Rourkela

Last year, according to the official notice, admissions at NIT Rourkela for BTech, BArch, dual degree, and Integrated MSc programs were conducted from August 16 to 21, 2023, through JoSAA and CSAB counselling. Established in 1961, NIT Rourkela has achieved an overall rank of 37, a rank of 16 among engineering colleges, and the 8th spot in the Architecture category according to the NIRF ranking 2023.
