NIT Rourkela MBA Admissions 2023 begin; Apply by Feb 10

School of Management, National Institute of Technology (NIT) Rourkela has invited eligible candidates for admission to the Master of Business Administration (MBA) for the academic session 2023-25

NIT Rourkela MBA Admissions 2023: Eligibility Criteria

“Any graduate with 60% or 6.5 CGPA (on a 10-point scale) and 55% or 6.0 CGPA in case of SC/ST candidates in the qualifying degree, from the universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of Education, Government of India,” reads the official admission notice.

The candidates appearing in the final semester/year examination may also apply for the above course. However, they have to produce their mark/grade sheet showing 6.5 CGPAor 60% for general category candidates and 6.0 CGPA or 55% in case of SC/ST candidates (as the case may be) in aggregate latest by 30th September 2023 failing which their admission will stand cancelled. Such students, at the time of admission, must produce a certificate signed by the Principal or Registrar of the College last attended stating that all examinations including practicals necessary for the award of the degree have been completed in order to be eligible for admission in the prescribed format [Annexure I], to be uploaded along with the selection list. OBC & PH category students are advised to submit the respective Annexures available in the application portal.

Interested candidates satisfying the eligibility criteria may submit an online application at http://eapplication.nitrkl.ac.in following the instructions:

• Applicants are advised to (a) read the advertisement carefully, (b) pay INR 500/-, towards the application fee online in the SB Collect portal of SBI https://www.onlinesbi.sbi/sbicollect/icollecthome.htm and (c) fill up and submit the online application form accordingly.
• Applicants are not required to send hard copy of the signed application form. However, the candidates who will be called for the interview are required to submit a signed copy of the application form and a set of copies of all certificates to the HOD on reporting day of the interview. They also need to produce original certificates from HSC onwards for verification to the Academic Office at the time of admission.
• All information will be displayed on our Institute website http://www.nitrkl.ac.in-> “Prospective Students”- > “Admission Advt. and Notices” and no intimation will be sent to any applicant by post.
