JEE Advanced 2024 Cutoff Released with JEE Mains Session 2 Results

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared the results of JEE Main 2024 for session 2. Candidates can access the results by logging into the JEE Main official website, jeemain.nta.ac.in. Candidates will need to use their application number and date of birth to check their results. The JEE Main 2024 result is available in the form of a scorecard. The scorecard for session 2 includes the JEE Main 2024 cutoff for the JEE Advanced exam, which will be conducted on May 26.

IIT Madras has already announced that the number of top JEE Main candidates to be selected for JEE Advanced 2024 is 2.5 lakhs. The total number of candidates is slightly greater than 2,50,000 in the presence of “tied” ranks/scores in any category. The total number of candidates selected this year is 250284. The percentages of various categories of candidates shortlisted are 10% for GEN-EWS, 27% for OBC-NCL, 15% for SC, 7.5% for ST, and the remaining 40.5% is OPEN for all. Within each of these five categories, a 5% horizontal reservation is available for PwD candidates.

With this in mind, NTA has released the JEE Main 2024 cutoff for JEE Advanced exam. This year the cutoff has spiked. The cutoff is: 93.2362181 for UR; 79.6757881 for OBC; 81.3266412 for EWS-ALL; 0.0018700 for UR-PWD, 60.0923182 for SC-ALL and 46.6975840 for ST-ALL. This is the highest-ever cutoff for JEE Advanced in the last 5 years.

Last year, the JEE Mains cutoff for the JEE Advanced exam was: General - 90.7788642, EWS - 75.6229025, OBC - 73.6114227, SC - 51.9776027, ST - 37.2348772 and PwD - 0.0013527.

JEE Advanced 2024 registration for JEE Main qualified candidates will be starting From April 27 at jeeadv.ac.in. To apply for JEE Advanced, candidates need to authenticate themselves by entering their JEE (Main) Application Number, Name and Date of Birth as printed on their JEE (Main) 2024 admit card.

There is more partiality students who belong to general category.Mu son has;secured 90.7percentile in 2024 but now he can't give JEE advance.If he belongs to general category what is his mistake.There is huge difference between general catergory.plz stop this reservation .
