Candidates have to follow the NTA JEE Mains COVID guidelines and exam day instructions at the exam centre on the exam day.

JEE Main 2022 Exam Day Instructions and COVID Guidelines

National Testing Agency has released JEE Main 2022 COVID-19 advisory and exam day guidelines which need to be followed by the candidates at the examination centres. Students can check these COVID-19 guidelines and exam day instructions in the JEE Mains 2022 information bulletin. The detailed list of all instructions which has to be followed as well as measures that will be followed by the NTA will also be mentioned on JEE Main admit card of the candidates.

NTA has informed that all latest COVID-19 guidelines and protocols as per Government of India Guidelines will be followed at the examination centres to maintain the required standard of safety and hygiene. Candidates who will be appearing in JEE Mains 2022 exam are advised to check the exam day guidelines and COVID special instructions. NTA will be conducting JEE Main 2022 session 1 exams on 21, 24, 25, 29 April and 1, 4 May in 514 cities of India and abroad.

Guidelines for Candidates

  • Candidates should report to the examination centre as per the reporting time mentioned on their JEE Main admit card.

  • Candidates need to maintain a distance of at least 6 feet with each other all the time inside the exam centre.

  • Candidates will be required to sanitize their hands before entry to the exam centre

  • Candidates will be provided with a fresh mask at the time of entry to the exam centre. Candidates have to wear the freshly provided masks and remove the ones carried by them to avoid any chance of UFM.

  • Students are advised not to bring anything other than the permitted items

  • Candidates should fill the Self Declaration Undertaking part of their JEE Main admit card and sign at the appropriate place beforehand their entry to exam hall.

List of items to be carried by candidates to exam centre

  • JEE Main Admit Card 2022

  • One photo Id proof and a colour photograph

  • Transparent ballpoint pen

  • Personal hand sanitisers

  • Face mask and hand gloves

  • Transparent water bottle

Preparation at the JEE Main Exam Centre

  • The pathway to the exam hall including door handles, staircase, railings and seating areas will be sanitized.

  • Monitor, keyboard, mouse, webcam, desk and chair will be disinfected before and after every shift.

  • Students will be seated with a gap between two seats

  • Hand sanitisers will be available at the entry to the exam centre and also inside the exam hall

  • Temperature of students will be checked using Thermo Guns.

  • Face masks will be provided to students at the exam centre

  • Students will be provided 6 rough sheets which will be placed on their seats before the beginning of the exam

  • NTA will ensure that all the process of frisking is touch-free with social distance norms

  • To avoid the crowd at the exam centres, students will be given staggered time slots for reporting

The exam will be conducted in online mode as Computer Based Test in two shifts each day. JEE Main Admit cards will be available online on the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in. JEE Main application form 2022 for the session 1 exam is available online and the last date to apply is March 31.
