Shiv Nadar University Chennai has opened SNU undergraduate applications for the academic year 2025-26. Aspiring candidates can apply online via the university’s admissions portal at snuchennai.edu.in/ug-admissions/. The SNUCEE entrance exams will run from April 12, 2025, to May 24, 2025. Applications for the first phase close on March 30, 2025, while the final phase deadline is May 11, 2025.
To ensure nationwide accessibility, the Shiv Nadar University Common Entrance Examination (SNUCEE) will be conducted at 10 locations, including Chennai (both campus and non-campus centres), Coimbatore, Madurai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Trivandrum, and Dubai.

Candidates interested in pursuing a law degree are not required to appear for the Shiv Nadar University Common Entrance Examination (SNUCEE). Instead, they must adhere to the specific eligibility criteria and admission guidelines outlined for the law program.

Q: How many BCom seats does SNU Chennai offer?
Yes, SNU Chennai BSc admissions are highly competitive. Since there are only 60 seats on offer for the whole programme. The admission process happens in multiple rounds so that the faculty can analyse and scrutinize the best candidates for the course.
To secure admission into BSc at SNU Chennai, candidates have to take the SNUCEE entrance exam, then further candidates are selected according to the exam for Personal Interview (PI) round. The PI is taken by the faculty of the institution and only after clearing the PI round can a candidate secure their seat in the university.
Q: Can I take multiple attempts for SNUCEE exam?
No. Only one attempt at SNUCEE is allowed for each programme. Candidates must prepare well for the exam. The SNUCEE exam is conducted in multiple phases. However, candidates will be able to take only one attempt.
