SRMIST Shares Video on ‘Step by Step Process Video for Taking SRMJEEE 2024 Exam’; Watch Here
With the SRMJEEE 2024 phase 1 exam starting on April 20, SRMIST has released a video guide on how to take the remote proctored exam. SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST) has released a video guide explaining the process of taking the SRMJEEE 2024 online remote proctored test. Candidates will be able to take the test from the comfort of their homes on their laptops/desktops. The exam is scheduled to take place on April 20, 21 and 22. To give candidates a real feel of the exam, SRMIST is conducting SRMJEEE mock tests on April 18. These mock tests are designed to simulate the actual exam environment and will run from 11 am to 11 pm, today.
SRMJEEE 2024 Remore Proctored Test Requirements
Candidates need the following to be able to take the SRMJEEE remote proctored exam:
- Laptop with functional camera and microphone.
- Intel i3 (4TH Gen) equivalent CPU or above
- 4 GB RAM or above
- Internet Speed – Minimum 1MBPS
- 2 GB free hard disk space
- Windows 8 or above/Mac 10.14 Mojave and above
- Webcam

Candidates must check the video and follow the instructions provided on the screen to understand the requirements of the SRMJEEE exam.

To start the exam, candidates have to download the application from the official website of SRMIST. The application must be downloaded and installed in the system on which the candidate intends to take the exam. The application will run automatically and candidate may proceed to login. If the application does not run automatically, candidates will find the application icon on the desktop.
To login candidates have to enter their username and password. Thereafter they have to take a picture of themselves and their ID. Next candidates can proceed to read instructions and start the exam.
SRMJEEE 2024 exam will be held in 3 shifts on each day. Slot 1 exam will be held from 9 am to 11:30 pm, slot 2 from 12:00 noon to 2:30 pm and slot 3 from 3:00 pm to 5:30 pm.
