SRMJEEE 2024 Application Form (Started): Live Updates and Direct Link

Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology has also released application form for admissions 2024 via the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology Entrance Examination (KIITEE). SRM Institute of Science and Technology (formerly known as SRM University) has released the SRMJEEE application form. SRMIST has also announced the SRMJEEE 2024 schedule. Candidates can apply for the first phase of the exam until April 13, 2024. While the Phase 2 registrations for SRMJEEE are being facilitated until June 15, 2024. The SRMJEEE 2024 phase 1 exam dates are April 19, 20 and 21. The SRMJEEE phase 2 exam dates are June 21, 22, and 23. SRMIST will hold SRMJEEE, a national-level online remote proctored admission test to BTech programmes offered by SRMIST campuses.

Candidates have to fill out one single form to apply for BTech admission in more than one SRMIST campus. SRMJEEE acts as a common entrance examination for all SRM Group institutes and universities located at Chennai (Kattankulathur, Vadapalani, Ramapuram, Tiruchirappalli); Delhi NCR Campus at Ghaziabad (UP), SRM University - Sonepat, Haryana; and SRM University, AP - Andhra Pradesh.

Yes. SRMJEEE is mandatory for admission to SRMIST. However, to encourage and support students of exemplary talent, SRM Institute of Science and Technology (formerly known as SRM University) offers direct admission and scholarships to first-rank students of all the central and state boards in India, top 10,000 rankers in IIT JEE, top rankers in each district of Tamil Nadu and exemplary sports persons at National and International level.

SRMJEEE 2024 application form link will be activated tomorrow on the official website, srmist.edu.in. To apply, candidates have to register themselves, verify their email ID, fill out the online application form, upload the required documents, and lastly, pay the application fee.

Last year, SRMJEEE was held in remote proctored mode. For this year the mode and details of the exam are yet to be released. The exam date and other details will be announced soon.

SRMJEEE 2024 application form will be released on November 10.  SRMIST will hold SRMJEEE, a national-level online remote proctored admission test to BTech programmes offered by SRMIST campuses. SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination (SRMJEEE) is held in multiple phases. Last year, 3 phases were held. If this year the same trend is followed then SRMJEEE 2024 will be held in April, May and June.

SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST) provides mock tests to candidates who register for their entrance exam before every phase. The mock tests are available to candidates through their respective logins on srmist.edu.in. The SRMJEEE mock test is designed to help candidates get a feel for the actual entrance examination and the online proctored exam interface. The mock test will be invigilated by a remote proctor who will monitor candidates throughout the test via Web-Cam. Taking the mock test is highly recommended to ensure candidates are comfortable with the online proctored exam interface and to avoid any difficulties during the actual exam day.

SRMIST releases SRMJEEE model question papers for practice. Also, to get the experience of the real exam before the actual exam. SRMJEEE mock tests are also made available for the aspirants. Since the exam is held as an online remote proctored method, candidates must take mock tests and practice the model papers to understand the exam pattern beforehand. SRMJEEE is a national-level admission test for admission to BTech courses offered by the SRMIST campuses.

The questions in SRMJEEEE are based on the syllabus in Class 11th & Class 12th.  All the questions are of Multiple-Choice type and have four options as possible answers. Candidates can choose the most appropriate answer for each question. 1 mark is awarded for each correct answer and no negative marking for the wrong answer. The total duration of the exam is 2 hours 30 mins.

SRMJEEE 2024 number of questions and distribution of marks:

The education qualifications needed to apply for SRMJEEE are as follows:

• Minimum 60% aggregate in Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry /Biotechnology/ Biology/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Engineering Graphics.
• For BTech Biotechnology, Biotechnology w/s in Genetic Engineering, Biotechnology w/s in Regenerative Medicine, and Biomedical Engineering, a minimum 60% aggregate in PCM/PMB/PCB is needed. For all other courses, Chemistry will be taken for eligibility.
•  If Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices are considered for eligibility, then the candidate will be eligible only for BTech Computer Science and specializations in Computer Science.
• Passed in Higher secondary examination (10+2 pattern ) or appearing in Higher Secondary examination in the current academic year with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with any one of the subjects, Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Engineering Graphics as major subjects in regular stream from any state board within India, CBSE, ISCE, Matriculation, or NIOS.
•  Students who have completed +2 under NIOS must have completed the 10th standard from regular schooling or vice-versa.

Candidates should have attained the age of 16 years and 6 months on July 31st of the calendar year in which the 12th Board examination is to be held.

Note: NRIs, holders of PIO or OCI card issued by the Government of India who has not taken the SRMJEEE (UG) must apply under the International student category only.
Age: Should have attained the age of 16 years and 6 months on the 31st July of the calendar year in which the 12th Board examination is to be held.

Qualifying Examination For all BTech Courses:

The SRMJEEE 2024 application fee, which was INR 1200 last year, can be paid using an online voucher code or e-payment. Candidates will be able to download the application form only after successful payment.

The application form for admission to B.Tech programmes offered in SRM IST Chennai (Kattankulathur, Vadapalani, Ramapuram, Tiruchirappalli and Delhi-NCR Campus - Ghaziabad (UP), SRM University - Sonepat, Haryana and SRM University, Andhra Pradesh - Andhra Pradesh is available online only. The exam fee for each phase of SRMJEEE is INR 1200/-, which is non-refundable. SRMJEEE is conducted in three different phases. Candidates can apply for each phase separately if they wish to take the exam more than once.
