TNEA Counselling 2023 Dates Revised; Check New Schedule Here

The Directorate of Technical Education, Tamil Nadu has revised the TNEA dates. The new schedule has been also uploaded on the official website, tneaonline.org. TNEA 2023 counselling registrations are open and the last date to apply is June 4. Check the new schedule of TNEA counselling 2023 here.

The Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE), Tamil Nadu has revised TNEA 2023 dates. The new TNEA counselling dates have been made available as PDFs on the official website too. DoTE has not changed the registration dates, which means the last date to apply for TNEA 2023 remains to be June 4 as per the old schedule. Also, the last date to upload the required documents is by June 9. Apart from that, the rest of the dates have been revised.

Now, as per the new schedule, the random numbers will be generated and assigned to the candidates on June 6 and the rank list will be published on June 26. The general counselling will start on July 7 and will end on August 24. Earlier, as per the old schedule, the random numbers were to be assigned on June 7 and the rank list was to be published on July 12. The general counselling was to be held from August 7 to September 24.

BE/BTech admission in Tamil Nadu is done based on the online counselling process called TNEA. There is no state-level entrance exam for admission in Tamil Nadu. Candidates have to register and appear for the online Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) counselling held every year. 10+2 passed/appearing candidates can apply for TNEA counselling. Admission will be based on marks obtained by the candidates in the relevant subjects, namely, Maths, Physics and Chemistry which will be reduced to 200 (Maths – 100, Physics – 50 and Chemistry – 50).
