TNEA Counselling 2024 Round 2 Choice Filling Ends Today; Check Seats Available for Second Allotment

You have to apply on the official TNEA website. Engineering colleges in the state of Tamil Nadu offer admission based on the results of the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions TNEA exam.

1. The Tamil Nadu Directorate of Technical Education is in charge of conducting this exam. Following the exam, seats are assigned in engineering colleges through the TNEA counselling process.
2. After the results are released, you must register on the official TNEA website in order to take part in TNEA counselling.

The following candidates are considered the native of Tamil Nadu state:

• Tamil Nadu candidates who have passed their Class VIII to Class XII standard in Tamil Nadu.
• Children of Central Government Employees, irrespective of their nativity, provided their parents or guardians (only if both parents are not alive) have been serving in Tamil Nadu continuously for the past five years at the time of TNEA application form submission.
• Sons/daughters of All India Service Tamil Nadu cadre officers. Children of employees in the Public Sector or Government recognised institutions who at the time of TNEA 2025 application form submission had been working in their organisations for the past five years are also eligible to apply, irrespective of their domicile.
• Other state candidates who have studied from Class VIII to Class XII in Tamil Nadu can also apply for TNEA 2025.
• Tamil Nadu native candidates who have passed any of the VIII, IX, X, XI and XII standards or their equivalent examinations from schools situated outside Tamil Nadu can also apply for TNEA.

Check below the steps on how to fill choices in TNEA 2025 counselling: Add/Remove Choices: Candidates have to choose carefully their preferences for getting a seat in a branch in an institution. Based on the availability of seats, rank, and community, candidates will be allotted. Candidates must prepare a list of choices in the order of preference to enter the choices in the order preference correctly and quickly.
