Unhappy with JEE Main 2024 Score? Can Candidates Apply for Rechecking of IIT JEE Result? Know Here
NTA has released the JEE Main 2024 session 2 results, including the list of toppers, with 56 candidates achieving a 100 percentile in the April session. If candidates are not satisfied with their JEE Main score, find out whether they can request for recheck here.
JEE Main 2024 Session 2 Result: The National Testing Agency (NTA) declared the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE ) Main 2024 Session 2 results and cutoff for 10,67,959 candidates. They can download their JEE Main scorecard 2024 online at the official website jeemain.nta.ac.in. This time, the JEE Main cutoffs 2024 for all categories have increased considerably compared to last year.
This year, the count of candidates scoring 100 percentiles has risen by 13 compared to 2023, with a total of 56 candidates achieving a perfect NTA score in Paper 1 (BE/BTech). Telangana continues to lead with the highest number of JEE Main 100 percentilers, increasing from 11 students last year to 15 this year.
Those who have secured a rank in the top 2.5 lakh are eligible to appear for JEE Advanced Exam 2024. This year, the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras is conducting JEE Advanced 2024 on May 26.
Can Candidates Apply for Rechecking of IIT JEE Result 2024?
After the announcement of the JEE Main 2024 result, many candidates wish to apply for rechecking. However, NTA has already stated in the information bulletin that the JEE Main results are final and not subject to re-evaluation or rechecking. โThere shall be no re-evaluation/re-checking of the result. No correspondence in this regard shall be entertained,โ the information bulletin of JEE Main stated.
No requests for reconsideration of the JEE Main result 2024 will be considered. However, before the JEE Main result announcement, NTA releases the answer key, allowing candidates to submit objections if they have concerns about it. NTA reviews these objections and later releases a final answer key. The JEE Main results are then calculated based on this final answer key.
