The 76-year-old Padma Bhushan awardee was awarded the Honoris Causa (Doctorate in Philosophy) during a prestigious ceremony held at the institute’s Joka campus.
The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta conferred an honorary doctorate on Monday to renowned educationist and spiritual guru Sri M for his immense contributions to society. The 76-year-old Padma Bhushan awardee was awarded the Honoris Causa (Doctorate in Philosophy) during a prestigious ceremony held at the institute’s Joka campus.
The event was graced by several distinguished individuals, including IIM Calcutta’s Director-in-charge Saibal Chatterjee, Chairperson of the Board of Governors Shrikrishna G. Kulkarni, and other esteemed guests from various fields.
Sri M Expresses Gratitude and Encourages Students to Explore Their Potential
During the ceremony, Sri M, whose birth name is Madhukar Nath, expressed heartfelt gratitude for the honour.
