Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) has concluded Day 1 of VITEEE 2023 today. The entrance examination was held in three slots – 9 AM to 11:30 AM, 12:30 PM to 3 PM and 4 PM to 6:30 PM. According to the students who attempted the VITEEE 2023 paper today, the difficulty level was moderate.

VITEEE 2023 Day 1 paper was balanced well and the topics asked were from both the 11th and 12th standards. In the Physics section, the commonly asked topics were Current Electricity, Electrostatics, Properties of Matter, Optics and Electric Current. The Chemistry section had questions majorly from the Organic section. The students considered Mathematics as difficult as there were advanced-level questions from Algebra and Calculus. Comparatively, the English and Aptitude section was easy. 

VITEEE 2023 is being conducted as a computer-based test from April 17 to 23. The authorities have announced that VITEEE 2023 scheduled at Allahabad (Prayagraj) on April 17 has been postponed to April 21.
