West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has released the WBJEE 2024 official brochure at wbjeeb.nic.in. Candidates can now access important information regarding WBJEE 2024 through the official brochure. The authorities advise the candidates to check the official brochure carefully before commencing the WBJEE 2024 registration process.

WBJEE 2024 application form will be released soon at wbjeeb.nic.in. All eligible candidates will have to complete the WBJEE 2024 registration process before the final date. While filling out the form, the candidates will also have to pay the application fee of INR 500 (General Male Candidates) or INR 400 (General Female and all Male Candidates of SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B/EWS/TFW) or INR 300 (All Female Candidates of SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B/EWS/TFW and Third Gender Candidates).

WBJEE 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates can check the official WBJEE 2024 eligibility criteria below.

• Must be a citizen of India or OCI.
• Should have passed the 12th standard (or equivalent) qualifying examination before 2024 or appearing for it in 2024.
• The lower age limit is 17 years as of December 31, 2024. The candidate should have been born on or before December 31, 2007. There is no upper age limit.
• Candidates should have passed the qualifying exam with Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics /Chemistry/Computer Science/Electronics/Information Technology/Biology/Informatics Practices/Biotechnology/Technical Vocational Subject/Agriculture/Engineering Graphics/Business Studies/Entrepreneurship with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for reserved category).

Before commencing the WBJEE 2024 preparation, the candidates are advised to carefully check the official exam pattern and syllabus. The WBJEE question paper will consist of topics from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. According to the WBJEE 2024 exam pattern, the entrance examination will be held as a pen-and-paper-based test with multiple-choice questions. WBJEE 2024 will be divided into two papers – Paper I (Mathematics) and Paper II (Physics and Chemistry).  

WBJEE 2024 will be held tentatively on April 28 in 49 cities, including other state cities (Silchar and Agartala). While filling out the WBJEE 2024 application form, the candidates will have to select their choice of exam cities in order of preference. The authorities are expected to release the other important WBJEE 2024 dates soon.
