The Ministry of Railways has asserted by tweeting that the image of a widely circulated railway recruitment notification claiming to offer over 5,000 vacancies in Indian Railways is a fake. The notification in question has been circulated by a private organization namely “Avestran Infotech”. The ministry has cautioned public to beware of such fake notification in future.
As per the statement issued by Railway Ministry regarding the issue of fake notification circulation, “railways have not authorized any private agency as yet to do the recruitment of staff on its behalf as alleged by the above-named agency.” They have advised candidates to verify such news from the official website of Indian Railways.

Vacancies on Indian Railways are filled up by giving wide publicity through Centralized Employment Notifications (CENs). Candidates should also avoid any claim by any agency or individual which promises direct employment under Indian Railways.
This year candidates are eagerly waiting for the notification of RRB ALP and technicians, RRB NTPC and RRB group D dates. Ministry has requested candidates to keep visiting the official RRB website to get updates on these exams.
