GATE 2022: With no official announcement regarding the release of admit card or conducting Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2022 amid rising cases of COVID-19, worried candidates have taken it to Twitter for a decision on the exam.

GATE 2022 aspirants have asked the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur, the exam conducting authority to reveal whether the exam will be conducted as per the schedule or it will be postponed due to rapidly growing Coronavirus cases across the country. While several demanded postponement of the exam, a few students also asked the institute to reopen the GATE 2022 application form window to change the exam cities.

As per GATE exam date 2022, the entrance test is scheduled to be conducted on February 5, 6, 12 and 13. However, the GATE admit card is yet to be released by the exam conducting authority which earlier was scheduled to be released on January 3. The hall ticket release has been postponed twice since then. Firstly, till January 7, and then till any further notice which is now creating worries among students.

Recently, IIT Kharagpur Director Professor Virendra Kumar Tewari, said that the institute is reviewing the situation and the decision on GATE 2022 exam is likely to be taken soon. He also said that the institute is in constant touch with the members of the exam conducting team, public administration and authorities to finalise the decision of conducting the GATE exam.
