GBU established by the Department of Science & Technology, Government of Gujarat is a new postgraduate university, being established in Gandhinagar, near GIFT City.
Gujarat Biotechnology University has commenced the admission process for MSc courses. The candidates must note that the Graduate Aptitude Test - Biotechnology (GAT B) score is an essential eligibility criterion for admission.
Gujarat Biotechnology University (GBU), India’s first dedicated biotechnology university, established by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of Gujarat, in partnership with the University of Edinburgh, U.K., It is the first postgraduate university in India that focuses entirely on biotechnology.
Students interested in pursuing their career in biotechnology can apply for various MSc courses provided by the institute using their Graduate Aptitude Test - Biotechnology (GAT B) scores.

GBU has been established in partnership with the University of Edinburgh (UoE), United Kingdom, by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of Gujarat.
